RFIDCTP provides HF RFID CD and DVD label tags and long read range UHF RFID CD and DVD label tags.

These CD and DVD tags are easy to peel and stick onto virtually any CD or DVD and protect your assets. Libraries currently using a HF RFID system can simply peel and stick these tags onto their CD and DVD collection and use the same hardware without any changes.[/fusion_text][/one_full][/fullwidth][fullwidth background_color=”#ffffff” background_image=”” background_parallax=”none” enable_mobile=”no” parallax_speed=”0.3″ background_repeat=”no-repeat” background_position=”left top” video_url=”” video_aspect_ratio=”16:9″ video_webm=”” video_mp4=”” video_ogv=”” video_preview_image=”” overlay_color=”” overlay_opacity=”0.5″ video_mute=”yes” video_loop=”yes” fade=”no” border_size=”1px” border_color=”#e2e2e2″ border_style=”solid” padding_top=”30px” padding_bottom=”20px” padding_left=”30px” padding_right=”30px” hundred_percent=”no” equal_height_columns=”no” hide_on_mobile=”no” menu_anchor=”” class=”” id=””][title size=”3″ content_align=”left” style_type=”double solid” sep_color=”#dfdddd” margin_top=”” margin_bottom=”30px” class=”” id=””]High Frequency 13.56 MHz.[/title][one_third last=”no” spacing=”yes” center_content=”no” hide_on_mobile=”no” background_color=”” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” background_position=”left top” hover_type=”none” link=”” border_position=”all” border_size=”0px” border_color=”” border_style=”” padding=”” margin_top=”” margin_bottom=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”” animation_speed=”0.1″ animation_offset=”” class=”” id=””][imageframe lightbox=”no” gallery_id=”” lightbox_image=”” style_type=”none” hover_type=”none” bordercolor=”” bordersize=”0px” borderradius=”0″ stylecolor=”” align=”none” link=”” linktarget=”_self” animation_type=”0″ animation_direction=”down” animation_speed=”0.1″ animation_offset=”” hide_on_mobile=”no” class=”” id=””] [/imageframe][/one_third][two_third last=”yes” spacing=”yes” center_content=”no” hide_on_mobile=”no” background_color=”” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” background_position=”left top” hover_type=”none” link=”” border_position=”all” border_size=”0px” border_color=”” border_style=”” padding=”” margin_top=”” margin_bottom=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”” animation_speed=”0.1″ animation_offset=”” class=”” id=””][fusion_text]This example of our High Frequency RFID CD DVD tags from UPM Raflatac is very easy to use provide excellent control of audio and video disks.

While the examples clearly show the actual IC and antenna, RFIDCTP can also provide these tags as circular white blank labels or labels with your company or institution name and logo on them for ease in identification.

Or you can simply use them as they are shown in the picture. Visible RFID tags can discourage theft as they are a reminder that the disk is secured by radio frequency.

Since these tags are actually labels we can provide them with a paper surface or a longer wearing gloss polyester coating identical to our standard library label line.[/fusion_text][/two_third][one_third last=”no” spacing=”yes” center_content=”no” hide_on_mobile=”no” background_color=”” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” background_position=”left top” hover_type=”none” link=”” border_position=”all” border_size=”0px” border_color=”” border_style=”” padding=”” margin_top=”” margin_bottom=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”” animation_speed=”0.1″ animation_offset=”” class=”” id=””][imageframe lightbox=”no” gallery_id=”” lightbox_image=”” style_type=”none” hover_type=”none” bordercolor=”” bordersize=”0px” borderradius=”0″ stylecolor=”” align=”none” link=”” linktarget=”_self” animation_type=”0″ animation_direction=”down” animation_speed=”0.1″ animation_offset=”” hide_on_mobile=”no” class=”” id=””] [/imageframe][/one_third][two_third last=”yes” spacing=”yes” center_content=”no” hide_on_mobile=”no” background_color=”” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” background_position=”left top” hover_type=”none” link=”” border_position=”all” border_size=”0px” border_color=”” border_style=”” padding=”” margin_top=”” margin_bottom=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”” animation_speed=”0.1″ animation_offset=”” class=”” id=””][fusion_text]This is the Texas Instrument version of the CD DVD 13.56 MHz. tag. This distance is attained using a fixed reader and our special CD/DVD Tag.

The read distance changes with different disk manufacturer’s as each disk can have a different metallic content which reduces this read distance.

This tag uses the latest Monza4 IC with True 3D antenna technology, an EPC code of 128 bits, 32 bits user memory and a serialized TID

Approximate read distances for differnt types of CD’s and DVD’s is as follows:

  • Finished DVD in case – 2 meters or 6 feet
  • DVD Writable – 0.75 meter or 2.5 feet
  • Finished Music CD in case – 0.30 meters or 1 foot
  • CD Writable – 0.182 meters or 6 inches

Asset management for retail, libraries, museums, archive backups, virtually any application that uses optical storage disks can use these long read distance RFID UHF tags.

Using a fixed reader and having the entrance and exit doors equipped with UHF antenna, any disk going in or out will be read easily, conveniently and quickly to record the event. If required you can use a digital I/O board to sound an alarm or lock the exit and entrance doors automatically, or have a pre-recorded message play from the location sound system advising of the potential problem.[/fusion_text][/two_third][/fullwidth]
